The ergonomist meets with management to discuss, observe, video and or photograph so an analysis of the physical tasks can be provided.
Discussions may include:




The Rehabilitation Services Otago Ltd team holds contracts with Accident Compensation Commission, private insurance companies and some employers to provide these services in the workplace.
Team members work with managers and employees to identify approprpiate adjusted duties and possible equipment needed during the rehabilitation process.




In these programmes the specific work tasks are simulated to ensure the worker develops the work fitness and safety culture relevant to his work tasks.
All programmes are supervised by a Physiotherapist and Occupational Therapist and include participation in:





Individual rehabilitation programmes can be provided by therapists in our modern well-equipped practices in the Gymnasium.
Client’s programmes may include:
Specialised physiotherapy; muscle balance assessments, manual therapy, massage, acupuncture
- the practice, on specific balance/proprioception equipment.
- the gymnasium on – Cardio-Respiratory Fitness Equipment
- the Pilates and Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF) Clinic.
- the Hydrotherapy pool.
